A Silly Spider Poem

She’s weaving webs
Around my bed
Making the dreams
Inside my head

And in the morning
I’ll eat the bread
That tastes like cherries
All juicy and red

So now I’m fed
Full of cherry bread
Now what was that?
What you just said?

Oh…where’s the spider?
She’s in the garden shed
Sleeping peacefully on
The old snow sled

I will weave a web
Around her bed
To catch the dreams
Inside her head

In the morning
She’ll eat the bread
The piece I lovingly
Left in her bed

The Land Far Away

Hello my child
Let me take your hand
Together we will travel
To a far away land

Where moon rocks and rainbows
And gentle creatures play
Where angels and fairies
Sing songs every day

Where meadows of flowers
Are seen everywhere
Where love is huge
And everyone shares

Where the oceans roar
And call out your name
The wind ruffles your hair
And you laugh all the same

Let’s play in the waterfalls
We will have such fun
Frolicking on hill tops
Until your sleep is done

Fly with me upon my wing
To the land far away
Where the sunshine is warm
And we’re free to play

Sweet dreams my little one
