A Silly Spider Poem

She’s weaving webs
Around my bed
Making the dreams
Inside my head

And in the morning
I’ll eat the bread
That tastes like cherries
All juicy and red

So now I’m fed
Full of cherry bread
Now what was that?
What you just said?

Oh…where’s the spider?
She’s in the garden shed
Sleeping peacefully on
The old snow sled

I will weave a web
Around her bed
To catch the dreams
Inside her head

In the morning
She’ll eat the bread
The piece I lovingly
Left in her bed
